One of Our Secret Recipes!
Not our signature Yoshi Burger of course, we can't just give that away...
Specifically, our slightly less popular Kart Burger!
Here's how to make it:
Ingredients
- 80/20 Ground Beef
- While any ground beef will work, 80/20 is necessary for that classic Yoshi's taste!
- American Cheese
- Preferably name-brand, but it doesn't matter too much.
- If you don't have American Cheese, you can use Mild Cheddar!
- Hamburger Buns
- Preferably a name-brand, but not from a bakery.
- Iceberg Lettuce
- Onions
- The type of onions themselves don't matter too much, nor how they're cut.
- Hamburger Dill Pickles
- Tomato
- Tomatoes aren't necessary to put on the burger if you don't like them!
- Ketchup
- Mustard
Directions
- Divide one pound of ground beef into 6 equal chunks.
- They should be the size of around a golf ball.
- They don't need to be perfect!
- Place the patty in a lightly oiled cast-iron skillet.
- Put your stove on medium-high, and make sure your smoke alarms are off!
- Flatten the patty into a 1/4th inch thick disc with a spatula.
- Make sure to do this soon after you place it in the skillet as to not dry it out!
- Salt generously with salt and pepper.
- Flip the patty.
- Do this before the top starts changing color, but the top will take less time to cook than the bottom, so make sure it doesn't burn!
- Don't forget to season the other side, too!
- Place the burger on the bun with toppings.
- It doesn't matter where the toppings are. They're delicious either way!
- Enjoy!
